So you walk into a shop with fear in your eyes seeing Rands when you look at Euros. You have no idea what the dutch call Bisto and the monkey wrench needed for a pipe is actually called an aapsleutel... Maar dis ok... You will get there. You will look back and also share stories of those horrific moments when translations went wrong. We have put together a list of Dutch stores. Jy weet mos, soos n saffa daar aan dink.

Not all shops are here, These are just some of the more bigger brands. If you have something you would like to share please let me know.

For me its more of, what i can find, where... Wibra has great kids clothing, Zeeman has cute things for girls age 4-7. Primark has basically everything and the quality is better than C&A, which i find is more expensive than Primark. TKmaxx has awesome stuff especially for kids, like Edgars to me had mostly brand names, at TKMaxx they sell kids nike/reebok etc sets for 9-16 euro a set (if brands are what you need). If you have geduld and a eye for sorting through stuff, kringloop is amazing, even Vinted. Online at H&M is also great, the quality is H&M like we all know it and the online availability is huge compared to the two tiny shops in eindhoven for example. Action is good for underwear especially kids with the themes like mickey, paw patrol etc. What worked for me was to go look at all the stores and try them all, now i know what i can get where, what lasts and what wont easily shrink in a wash or dry cycle.
